Construction projects planned

This is a small selection of what is currently planned:

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund presented the EIA to build and equip a medicine unit located in San José. According to the study, the project is called "Construction and equipment of the Reproductive Medicine Unit of Women's Hospital Complexity" and approximately $ 8.3 million will be invested.


The Mortgage Bank of Housing presented the EIA to build a wastewater treatment plant in the district of Río Blanco, province of Limón. The project is called "Treatment Plant for Urbanization Limón 2000" and according to the document, $ 5 million will be invested.

A tourism development, a medical center and a wastewater treatment plant are part of the projects that are planned to be developed in the country in the coming months.
Dominical Ridge Limitada presented the EIA to build in Bahía Ballena, province of Puntarenas, a tourist complex that will have 24 single-family houses, a hotel with 50 rooms and a building for residential and commercial use. According to the document, the project is called "Dominical Ridge Resort Development" and an investment of $ 18.8 million is estimated.
