Apparently, the company Un Paseo Al Mar LLC LTDA plans to build a tourist complex in Bahía Ballena, province of Puntarenas that will include a hotel, town houses and apartment towers.
In October they presented the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) at SETENA to get the approval done.
The development is divided into 3 stages.
In the first phase, a 3-level hotel with 120 distribution rooms will be built in an area of 23,007 m2.
In the second phase, it is planned to build a 4-level hotel with an area of 38,631 m2, and in the third phase will develop "town houses", apartment towers, a museum and a commercial area.
The project is called "Dominical Tourism Development: Dominical Beach" and according to the study, $ 128.5 million will be invested.
